How much does the one you got weigh?
Think it's 100 lbs

Same size ish as the old Honda 3000 , bit lighter

Same weight ect as the Onan 4500 genny

Just less than half the price , close to Same specs

I'm thinking my costco run tomorrow might be a costly one.

I saw it at costco as well. You can't plug in the trailer directly into it will need adaptor. Was a pretty light unit tho.

Ya the 850 buck one with e start and remote start was worth the extra over the suit case one

It's 70 lbs that you have to lift and holds 5 litres less fuel too if I recall

130 lbs , holds 4 litres more fuel than the suit case one

I have the adaptor as I use it to plug the RV into my house

I bought one today. Employee said they have sold about half of their stock in 2 days. Says they should be sold out by the weekend

I ran it on low idle and its not much different than my honda 2000. Even on high idle 2 people certainly can have a conversation without screaming at each other

Many places wont allow you to run the champion or similar generators, I have been at BVJ in reserved camping for 25 years and they have been restricting those and security had come by and turned on of our campers units off and said read the rules, they instructed us not to have it running again or the site owner will be fined and he will asked to leave, we all clapped when they shut it down, you couldn't talk and it was behind his trailer. The one Tyler is referring to is seems like a decent unit. I would sooner recommend a bigger unit as its not racing all day trying to keep up where a larger unit isn't. I have both honda Eu2000 and a Eu3000, the 3000 purs along nicely where the 2000 is racing half the days. And fuel is about the same so I prefer running that all day

Champion Inverters are nearly as quiet as Honda’s. I’ve had both Honda 2000 & Champion 2000, Honda is a slight bit quieter. Both Honda & Champion have loud ass generators…

I own the Champion 3100W inverter (2800W) and runs my AC in my last 4 units. Need to turn off some appliances on the first cold AC start on some of the trailers but after that off to the races. A Honda 3000 is not in the same league, like 3 times the cost, double the size/weight and much quieter…. Pick your preference.

The generator is a POS... taking it back to Costco tomorrow. Ran for maybe 20 minutes running my 2 ton wood splitter and it died and we could not start it. Brought it home from the bush and still dead. **ck it.

When I called Costco today about it they asked if I wanted another and I said no. Not sure how many amps the splitter is but my Honda 2000 works it with no problems. Will look at other brands in the next few weeks.

I have had a costco firman 2000 watt for years with out any issues . Just thought the higher watt would power my AC on the trailer. They have them on for $699 now. It may be you get what you pay for in this case.

Just got back from returning the dead unit. Lady questioned me about the fuel in the generator and before she anything else I informed her that I had called in yesterday and they never said anything about making sure there was no fuel in it.
