I am new to sledding and was thinking about heading to Valemount this weekend. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to where it's good to go for beginners? So far I have gone sledding at Greystokes in Kelowna and have some experience in powder. Relatively flat plateaus with areas that we can get some "airtime" would be fun but not into extreme climbing or anything.
Any pointers would really be a huge help!
Thanks!

allan creek wont dissapoint! something for everyone there. same with chappel creek. bit of a drive (50km) and a bit of a trail ride (30km) but lots of open meadows and lakes.

also clemina creek has some good terrain aswell however it opens itsself up more into big avy terrain moreso than allan creek.

Hey Curtis, if our AST1 course falls through we may head up your way since I have never sledded up your way. I really want to try our the new sled in the big powder. TAS
