Need to fix my odometer/spedo/trip meter

Here's a explosion drawing to help you out if neccessary... #9 (adapter, drive speedometer) might be yur culprit? Hope it's just yur cable. Are the ends still nice and square?

wow Scotty this diagram is really coming in handy. Thanks so much. Drive shaft looks good! Bearing and stuff on that side looks like crap. Trying to figure out what how the drive shaft was supposed to fit into that triangular shaped mounting thing. (9?). Everything is busted over there. slider wheel looks like it went through the ringer too!. Thanks again!
