The boys are testing at Phoenix yesterday and today. Speeds are up with the new pavement and increased banking. The racers love it and I am looking forward to being there in November for my annual boys trip of golf and car racing. Anyone else going down there?

Nice! Sounds like fun!! I'd like to hit Vegas for a race someday. Do you have any idea how far the race track at Pheonix is from Lake Havasu?

Jeez not sure Woody. Never ever been there. Vegas is probably the best track to go to just for the after race entertainment. Only been there twice as it is pretty hard to beat the free room and lodging and runabout car that my buddy offers up in Phoenix.

...I was thinking the same thing, buddy has a house in Lake Havasu, didn't think it was that far to Pheonix from there, only 2 1/2 to Vegas from his place though...could still work

1st practice is over at Kansas and here are the top 6 fastest cars. Menard, Bowyer, Gordon, Reutiman, Kenseth and Jr. Who's your pics this week boys? In other news Roush may be dropping to 3 cars next year as they have told Ragan he can pursue other options. With UPS leaving and Kenseth still unsponsored it is not looking to good for Ragan next year. As well Clint Bowyer signed a 3 year deal today with Waltrip and 5 Hour Energy to race their Toyota next year.

I think we all new it was a matter of time before it happened. I just hope Roush figures how to cheat the system before Hendrick does. HaHa. BTW I'm picking Kenseth again this weekend especially being it's a mile and a half cookie cutter track.
