Ridemx I've had the same, motor mount were shot and engine strap bolt broken. The problem is the engineers don't ride as hard as we do, so as long as they fix it I'll keep riding the Pro.
It's the best sled I've ever riden, and easy to repair.

2012 Pro Rmk 800 . 1200 miles this season , love the sled but... It's in the shop right now and I'm not riding this weekend!. All maintenance is current. Motor mounts are shot, it's on 4th belt and mounts are moving lots . Primary clutch issues yet again on second spring and shop says its bent? But the spring has worn into the cover quite a bit to the point of where the spring does not sit flat on cover . Pipe springs from y pipe to pipe have almost worn right through the hooks on pipe . Steering bushings are beyond worn out! Rear suspension torque arms have 3/8 inch play and clunk badly ( gets greasedJ every 2 rides) . Brake drag noise ( more annoying than a problem ) but it shouldn't drag at All. Running Boards are starting to crack out, I haven't even cornice dropped because I know of this issue . This Is the list I gave the shop and they Called yesterday and agreed all this stuff is worn out! They said they could prob get everything under warranty except the rear suspension components might be tough since its a wear item?

So has any one else had this many problems?

The engine has never missed a beat and runs excellent and I love the sled except this is a bit much after one season. It has 3 year b2b warranty but theres not gonna be much of this thing holding together after three years!
One last thing to add, it is ridden hard every ride! All deep snow mountain riding.
My buddies are all bugging me that Polaris makes there sleds out of recycled pop cans haha!! Is light weight good !?

APRIL FOOL !!! You're either a Doo troll or you ran over your sled with a truck to have that much damage in 1200 miles. Let's hear the truth !!

out with a few last week, was told today that the piston skirt destroyed, 1100 miles on the one poo, that group of guys have not had the best of luck with the poos, they are a sled to keep under warrenty, and then have a backup for all the downtime

And we've never, ever, ever heard of a Doo going down at that mileage, right fred ? I am a licensed mechanic and as such, have helped numerous friends with sled engine repairs over the years. I can say with no reservation that I have rebuilt, at minimum, four Doo engines for every Poo engine in the last ten years. Cranks, piston ring locator pins, etc, etc.

Edit: big surprise that CUSO and snopro would like fred's post. LMFAO !!! You Village People really do stick together, don't you ?

I was out with a few guys last week also, 29000 miles ridden between them, they said they haven't had the best of luck taking advice or listening to the opinion of fredw. definetely a sledder to avoid listening to during any downtime, same regurgitated,, misinformed, brand biased, totally BS opinion based on forum fantasy.
But,......good news. most have caught on, not all, but most.

ER-UH...

Move along dogie, lets keep on topic.

I don't need a sticker on the side of my sled to tell me that I am a pro.

Funny stuff. I've heard from reliable sources that you're far from a pro rider, so what is it exactly that you are a "pro" at ?

PS: I've never claimed to be a pro, but my sled is. :)

You did say you rode it hard.My 2012 has 598 miles on it and I have only missed about 4 weekends. You must ride a lot to put on 1200 miles.Any way mine has run awsome from the beggining and has never missed a beat.I put BB on the tunnel so beefed that up.Mine shows no sign of wear and belt still looks like new.Only issue has been 1 broken scratcher.I do maintain and grease everything and always pay for a first service.I am trading on a 13 though

Let me rephrase that,,

I am not a pro, and I don't need a sticker on the side of my sled to make me think I am one.

I can lose just about anyone in the trees with my old '08

Plus your sources are not reliable.

It's funny how a laugh remark can spark all the insecurities..
