Well here I go spending a ton of cash on an already expensive sled, figured I would post it so as to entertain a few people that still build a sled themselves, it seems that no one posts on their builds and I would like you to show your sled, stuff you have done that is cool, and no I don’t mean a wrap that doesn’t count. My build is as follows 1 avid drivers, a must for the doo, factory ones suck, 2 Ice age rails with 9 inch Ice age billet wheels and the offset axle, the factory rails are bending easily especially with the 175, 3 spring bushings and possibly heavier springs, really helped my 21 keep the front end down, 4 better seat, nuff said factory sucks, 6 All the linq stuff, jerry can, storage bags, etc, 7 kill switch relocate, a must in my opinion, 8 Team tied secondary conversion with gearing and a complete swap out to the heavier chain and sprockets, for 23 doo cheaped out and put a crappy chain compared to 21 and 22 turbos, this chain stretches tremendously and will be a problem once some miles are put on them in my opinion, 9 Backwoods front and rear bumpers, look cool and saved my tunnel on my 21, 10 Primary complete gut of factory weights and gonna do adjustable, not sure which ones yet. This is a lot but I want a bullet proof sled that will kill stockers and this is my build, hope you like it and if not go polish your wrap! Pics to follow,

Drivers, so much more meat then stock and you can run your track loose, I couldn’t spin my track by hand with the stock ones cuz it has to be fiddle tight so as not to ratchet.

Spring bushings, these need to be machined differently for 23 because doo changed the shaft that they go on, it’s oblong on one end.

Ice age rails, a thing of beauty, very expensive but worth every penny, you be the judge.

After my next ride this is going in, there are no words on how much better this is, way better upshifting and back shifting, 1to 2 mph gain in track speed, cooler belt temps and no more clunking to go into reverse, this is a great mod even though it’s pricey. I will do the hyvo chain and gears at the same time, pics to follow.

Big shoutout to Benny with Altitude Powersports, he is a great friend and loves to encourage me, we will be working on a complete clutch kit for these sleds as they are quite poor from the factory, we got 6 mph more outta my 21, hoping for more outta this one!

Nobody post sled builds because ppl just put bars and a wrap on them now.

I’ve noticed a few tracks lately that when they are fiddle string tight the rear wheels rip through the track. So there’s another plus to running good drivers.

I too started a sled build this weekend. After a decade of running my old mod sled I finally retired it and parted it out. Here’s a picture of its farewell ride. Ran great right to the end and whooped those turbo doos a$$es all day. It’s also built heavy and it’s still 30 pounds lighter than a stock 165 doo.

My new build is my 2017 174 axys that’s unsellable.

-Custom turbo kit (the one from the pro actually bolted up) Need to build a exhaust collector.
-Camo x3 174
- Avid drivers
- ice age rails with zero windows cut out.
- 9 inch rear wheels
- Tunnel chop 155 length (my old machine was a 163/174)
- Racers edge rear arm
- Redline fuel control
- Custom building a massive air box and some tunnel stiffeners this weekend.
-Ssi head for better cooling
-Trencher 36 a arms
-Rpm turbo with a billet wheel.
- I’m likey going to build a fuel system to tie the oem and aux injectors together from a old style fuel rail.

This turbo built 15 pounds on my old pro when cranked all the way up. The aux injectors will be spraying cold fuel onto the reeds.

This sled is going to be my new chute climber. I Hope to be able to run 10 psi on av and if I want more I’ll run race for the 15 psi.

Here’s a moch up pic of the pro turbo in a axys.

Just traded it off on Friday. It was a 2020 Khaos 155. Ended up being a short tunnel 163 Khaos

163 ice age rails
163 Arctic Cat 3 inch track
7 tooth Avid Drivers
2 wheel Ani-Stab
Kurt's Gear Down
Light Weight Brake Rotor
ZRP Clutch Cover
Altitude Powersports Clutch Kit
SSI Titanium Can
Source Inovations Ski Rubbers
Finger Throttle
Pro Armour Tether

I'm not doing much to my 9R 155 Khaos Slash. See how I like the series 8 and new drivers then decided. Just finger throttle, SLP quite can, Brake reservoir protector, Ski Rubbers and reversible scratchers. Most of what I did to my 20 is done on the Matryx.

Looking good Paul. Think I will end up regretting not taking mine. At least you can be the product tester before I splurge.

I have put 60 k on the drivers so far and there is 0 vibration, they are awesome, as for the seat I will have to check what sled it is off, possibly a renegade? once you have a seat like this you won't go back!!
