Around here RAMP (rec. access management plan ) for summer use is being opened up this fall.... I'm sure that the mudding on crown land is going to be a hot topic!! Right now the gov't is threatening to close areas if the mudding continues, except under the power lines.... Hopefully when RAMP is done there will be some areas that will be open for mudders!

I don't think it has anything to do with tax payers! it's the ch!t heads that don't appreciate our sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that it's the sh$theads that appreciate the sport but don't have any sense of responsibility.

To many boggers are not the most well maintained vehicles out there. Lots Of oil and grease on them. Cross a fresh creek and spill some Oil In there your in chit! I have no problems with offroading but the littering of garbage cans bottles rims tires mufflers axles is ridiculous and that's what they are trying to prevent. Not to mention the rutting up of our land and the cutting down of trees. I'm not innocent at all when it comes to pollution and making ruts and cutting trees but i for one will pack out every thing I ever pack in

Ive always said the foot print we leave as ATV'ers is so small its almost a joke they come after us.

but they do because were small fish that cant fight back.

Have you ever seen the foot print a logging company makes ? or a oilfield company its ridiculous half the time it looks like a bomb went off.

but big company's have pull and can fight back.

unlike us.

have you ever seen what a ATV trail looks like after 5 months of no one using it. nature pretty much reclaims it in that amount of time.

not so much with the other above mentioned people.

We pay pay pay and then we pay some more and then we get fined for stupid ch!t and pushed around by the people who's salary's and very way of life are payed for by you guessed it .. US The people who pay.

I dont want to sound like im defending this, because greenpeace can suck my .... but there is a few diferences between a bogger and a logger. 1 we need the logs for our society, helps the economy, and those companies do have to pay out their ying yangs for permits and stuff, and if an enviromental audit comes around and they have oil and crap spilt everywhere, they will get fined pretty large.

alright here it is since i got nailed with a $2000 fine 2 years agao for this :nono: the rule here is no riding off of the trails if u run forest service roads you must have proper insurance. there is absolutely no mud bogging no going in the water cause that is the fisheries act. you really arent supposed to go off of trail anywere in bc or it is a fine.

I got nailed 2 years ago for going up to the snowmobile area in cranbrook and following the information from my backroad mapbook that said there was a trail around the edge of a lake so i followed it with a buddy to the back bowls stopped took some pictures then left came back to the trucks went home the next day had the fish and wildlife officers at my work handing me fines and violations lol real brutal it was

I don't know about that!! If you go up into the alpine and rut it up it takes years to heal. There are places that you can mud bogging on, and the alpine is not one of them.
