picked up a quartz rock with a reddish coppery streak in it last summer quadding, anywhere to see what it is? heard that minerals will mix with a precious metal and look copperish. may have to do some more looking this spring.

I'll take a peek at my mineral and rock bibles..... we had quite a few samples in school with a copperrish hue to them and they were nothing special.....
