My supervisor just got back and airport pulled random test. Him, wife and crew he was with positive. Of course it could be an excuse coming from +30s to -40s they just wanted to stay home and not work in the cold. My opinion...

Can you blame them ?

Have friend over there right now, tested positive on their test and are now quarantined there for 15 days. They are on day 6 of it

Have friend down there with wife. Posting on Factbook everyday. Looks like weather is nice there compared to here lol

What’s the quarantine situation like down there? They get ti do anything??

They are staying with at a friends place. It probably varies on the region of Mexico your in.

These guys were in porta viarta

Other friends that visited cancan said COVID didn’t exist and nobody would fail a test.

And we had Christmas dinner with a couple that usually is in hutuco Jan-April, they said that region is hard core as they don’t want to loose their tourism and has a mask when you leave your house policy. Outside by yourself kinda thing.

We got back from Cancun on 18th, kind of beat the latest omi-cold wave. We had insurance through ama that was $109 would cover expenses for the 2 weeks if we got quarantined, obviously we were negative but my understanding was “designated“ hotels were used if came up pos, so not a resort.

Not sure where they are staying, will here when they get back

Talked with about 10 couples who have retuned from Mexico in the last week.
No issues and had a great time.

We have friends in Puerto Vallarta right now, they say the vacation has been great so far. They all tested negative, but there flight home got canceled so not sure what’s going to happen now. They don’t seem too concerned since school has been shut down for another week and it’s crazy cold here lol.
