Buddy's M1000 Turbo ran fine for the first hr, he shut it down and would not start again. Pulled and pulled and lights would not even light up, he could not check spark because we had nothing to pull the springs on the pipe. After 2.5 hrs of sitting it started, ran great. Went back to the trucks and it restarted everytime. He noticed his sled was flashing CU 6, and help would be great

Seems to me I have heard of this happening before. If you shut sled off to soon when hot it will trigger heat sensor.it then takes quite some time for it reset. There is someone building an override button for this prob. but cannot remember where i seen it.
This prob. seems more common on turbo 1000s.

My son richens up the bottom end a few numbers before he shuts his TM1000 down. Used to be a bear to start, but now it starts great. :)

CPC builds an override in with their kits. Shut it down too soon and flick the switch and it'll start in limp mode, flip it back and it's ready to ride.
