Lost my beacon in the move. Now what should I replace it with

I had high hopes for this one but the range on it is embarrassing for a premium transceiver as shown in the Mountain Sledder range test vid above.

Stick with the Mammot barryvox, decent price, easy to use, best range, great reviews, readily available. Its $429.00 why would you cheap out on a beacon ?

I personally wouldn’t step foot in that store if that was even $200 cheaper. They had a shovel I wanted and I even sourced the same one at a small ski shop and felt better about my purchase that I’m not supporting a business that is so against snowmobiling.
