I'am assuming you get the coupon after you purchase a Ski-dont sled.............................................I'am headed down to my local dealer now to purchase one and get my coupon..............car pool anyone???
like i said before if you buy from BRP you paid for it twice the company has received more money from the liberal [jerks] than any other in canada as for what polaris has done they support the womens cancer ride i believe zaks tracks also got a new sled for their avalanche program the other manufactures make just as good if not better product so if snow and mud members boycott these brp jerks products including there atvs we can sit back and watch there sales fall together we can do more harm than just ranting about it
08 summit X 154" for sale has all the important options. Must sell. PM me if interested.
JUST KIDDING
The trans canada snowmobile trail goes thru both of those provinces.. And what that means that the summit series of sleds that sell dont cont for there sales or we justaren't important over here to them or what???? Our snowmobile clubs over here couldn't use some donated money to upgrade trails cabins and stuff like that.. I think that the snowmobile clubs over here are just as important as the ones out east, if not more so.. You just look at what the clubs go thru over here to just keep riding area's open, if those area's aren't open for people to ride then why buy a summit if you can't ride it anywhere... So yah i think we are just as important as any club in the east... My two cents..

Mines sent... Think its that "center of the universe" mentality in bombardierville.... The world is flat and ends at saskatchewan... There is nothing past sask.... Lol
Thanks Summiteer for bringing this to our attention. I have dealt with BRP before and unfortuntally I have to agree with the logic behind their decision to look at AB and BC differently. The opportunity for trail fun raising is still there. I know that BRP will not leave the west out of the picture by no means. We still have no info on what is involved in the media package offer. As disappointing as it, is it still $1 million more than what the other manufactures do to help the clubs builtup the sport. Polaris is another Manufacture that has a $ program for the provincial/State associations. With this snowmobile that will be offered many strings come attatched to it as well. So not as much of a GIFT as some will want but it is still for the eastern provinces.
Alberta and British Columbia has a different type of trail networks because of our closeness to the mountains. It is hard to get the snowmobilers to focus on trail networks and interconnecting trails linking communties and areas when our snowmobilers have a very quick access to mountain riding. I am involved in the snowmobile trails in the Fort Saskatchewan area and find that when the snow is good at home we have extra sledders but most of them only ride at home when the snow is beter than normal. Most of the riding they do is in the mountains and don`t want to get involved in helping out around their home area. Help such as joining a club, helping as a volunteer, purchase a trail pass and so on. Don`t get me wrong many members on this site are mountain riders and help by helping out but the majority of hardcore riders of snowmobiles in AB sled in BC only. That leaves a fewwer amount of riders doing the majority of the trail network building. Now with fewer helpers the trail connections dont happen. Therfore we dont get into the program fully. It sucks but AB and BC are not Trail building Provinces.
If this program really bothers you talk to your dealer tommorow and let them know. Your dealer probally has some answers for you or some help to explain the program. I know I`m not selling my Ski-Doo for this reason and buying from a manufacture that does nothing to help support trail support in CANADA. In my opinion $1 million dollars is a lot of help to Canada Snowmobile Trails. Lets be happy we get that at least it makes me want to go riding in the East to see how it will be spent. Thats it my is over. So those that thing BRP still isnt helping the recreation of snowmobiling in Canada go ask your manufacture what THEY do to support the building of snowmobile trails in CANADA
