I can tell you I'd never buy an x-deck sled deck, couple guys I know with them had lots of welds break on ramps and support legs of the deck.
To look at the x-deck looks nice but its pretty evident 12yr old chinese factory workers are doing the welding on them. Look at how the welds are raised and look like bubble gum compared to ones made in canada and you'll see what I mean. I've got a crosstraxx and am very happy with the construction of it. Buddy's have bulldog, titan, marathon ect, they all seem to be holding up great.

Perfect timing with this post. I was going to pick up an x-deck this Friday only because I didn't want to make the trip to get a Cross-Trax. I just sold my shorty Cross-Trax and it was a solid deck. Now I'm needing one for a long box. Who is the closest seller of Cross-trax to Grande Prairie?

If it was my money I'd spend it on the crosstraxx. There was a guy in Barrhead selling them, SCH Trailers I think it called. Thats where I got mine.

I recommend the Marathon Classic over the Truck Boss, even with the new modifications that have been done. The cracking or tearing of the box panel is brutal.

Cant see that. I have 100000 km on my truck boss and no problems at all. Also it is anodized not coated so it still looks like new. I have 3 friends with them and they also love them. It is by far the best looking and most classy out there. The other brands all look home made in comparison.

Going on my 3rd season with an X-deck and no issues. But there is a guy in Beaverlodge that sells Cross-Trax decks. He's the one that has the bottled water depot/laundrymat by the Fast Gas

The guy in Beaverlodge doesn't have any 8ft decks in and he says he's not getting any in.

B-Mac how often do you use your deck? I like the looks of the x deck and it would be nice to be able to just pick up a deck in town but I use my deck a lot and need something that's going to last

Take a look at the Full Lotus sled deck guys you will be happy you did! It's built the best on the market, fully TIG welded, plastic composite decking, integrated brake and turn signals. Comes standard with Superclamps and glides on the deck, under deck LED's, loading LED's in the headache rack. Just an awesome package!

All of our CROSS-TRAX products now come with LIFETIME structural warranty we are the only manufacturer to offer such a warranty!! We decided to offer this length of warranty based on our track record of how many decks have been built in the last 13 years and the lack of problems our customers have with our products. I believe so strongly that we have the best built products we are willing to put that confidence to the test with this LIFETIME structural warranty, let's face it every deck site claims they are the strongest and the best built.... well CROSS-TRAX is going to stand behind our products with the best warranty in the industry.

Last year I didnt get out sledding as much as I wanted, maybe 10 days, but most of that was out to kakwa and that road gets pretty rough at times. the 2 years before that I've made a 2 to 3 trips to valemount with 3 days of riding each time, unloading and loading every day, then a few trips to kakwa as well. So I guess thats not a lot, when compared to a surveyor or someone like that, but everytime I go somewhere, its always 2 sleds on the deck. Hauled the quad around a little in the summer too. I check quite often for cracks or bends and havent found any yet. My only complaint about X-deck are the ramps are heavy compared to most telescopic or 2 piece ones i've used. They are nice to ride up on, but after a day of riding its nice to have a buddy help fold them up and store them back under the deck.
