I'm looking for a used track because I've heard that guys fasten them to trailers and such for max traction. So my question is where would be my best source for a worn out track thats only good for bolting down? Also, is this a common practice that works good or am I being screwed with?

I usually take 3-4 used old tracks sledding with me and if I can't make a steep climb i just lay them end to end up the hill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr sideways always gets the highmark in our crew! Dam you!!!!! But super seriously, try a few shops. I put a track up my ramp and on my deck (162 camo) from a shop for a 12 pack that was torn and warrantied.
Ren out!!!!

I have a ripped track that you can have for $30. I also know of another one if you need it. Probably can get it taken up to Edmonton on work business or if someone is going that way, you will just have to pick it up at our office. Yes they work really good for traction on a deck, ramp or trailer.

Well thanks for the good feedback guys. Modman, if I can't find one locally for cheap I'd be willing to grab that one from you
