A couple of brothers from Hinton purchased that a few years back and used it on a pretty regular basis with lots of quads, sleds, holiday trailers, parked in the yard summer and winter. This summer a bunch of local kids (oldest one was about 17 and youngest was about 13 if my memory serves me correctly) found a way into the house and also found a pretty good cache of liquor. Became a "party house" for a week or so. What with a house full of drunk adolescents in and out on a regular basis there was some "trashing" of the place (kicking in doors, punching holes in drywall, etc.). That is what I read in the paper this summer and I am not sure if all the damage was repaired but I think the brothers were pretty disgusted and put the place up for sale not too long afterwards. They are asking $175,000. Would be a good place for two or three buddies to pick up and share. Throw in $55,000 each. That much money only buys you a nice pick up truck nowadays.

It is not brothers from Hinton. It is a dude from hinton,a dude from edmonton, and a dude from salmon arm! Sweet place!! I have stayed there many times they are good friends of mine! Place sleeps like dozen peeps if you set it up right!! Would be a great buy if you and some buds sled in Valemount all the time! The place was broken into this summer but it was not trashed!! There was some minor damage that has been repaired. PM me if you want there contact info.
