The biggest problem with kijiji,is that it's anonamous.I have sold lot's of sled parts on there and you always get some dipchit offering you 10% of what you are asking. My usual reply is.[May the fleas of a thousand camels aggresively attack your genitalia! FAWK OFF:realmad:

I had the exact opposite happen this weekend, selling 2 quad catchers for 200.00 guy offered me 1 for 100.00, I thought thats pretty honest unlike most Kijiji offers, so i gave both them to him for $150.00 without him asking. Then he says why did you go down on price, I told him because he made a honest offer.

I hear ya! Chit goes both ways though, there are alot of dip chits who put stuff on kijiji and tatoo a number to it that doesnt even make sense. I find this mostly with holiday trailers though. Some people need to keep there chit. The idiot your dealing with is probably another friggen tire kicker, its like these guys slither through the kijiji adds like a snake in the grass looking for their next meal.

heh i take offense to that staement lol:d i am not a snake, more like a coyote.:d
but agree with you the wife is looking as she wants to upgrade our holiday ride, not sure why we never use the damn thing, but any ways found a 1996 24ft the guy wants 8500 bucks, no sliders, and nothing fancy about it. chit i would be lucky to get 8500 for my 2005 i am thinking if i honestly sold it.

kijiji drives me nuts but sometimes it works. i always reply with a HAHA to lowball offers.

people do it because the odd time someone will bite and these guys walk away with good junk because ssomeone was desperate for cash.

trying to sell a sled we just built brand new this summer. taking a hit of 10 grand. asking 9500. just got an offer of 7000 from some dumba$$ and hes telling me its going to need a whole bunch of parts because its an 09........

I know, there's a 2005 Fleetwood Gear Box 37.5 ft with just the bedromm slide, the guy wants $38,900. :nono: I can get a 2009 Fleetwood Formula 40ft, 3 slides, heated tanks, options go on and on, only 100 hrs on the gen $35,000. YA I'll give you $38,900 for your 2005 alright! Friggen crack head!! Maybe he has a 2004 Honda Foreman for $15,000 to go with that. :biglaugh:

Maybe that's what he still owes on it cause the salesman was pretty good at sugar coating? Rooked him in to paying full retail price plus all the little extra's.

Ya thats what i did. Then he responded " on his personal email " u r a a$$hole! So that's when I got a little fired up. At first i told him to send a truck in morning to pick it up, thinking that would teach the clown a leason, but thats a little much. But from now on I'm not even going to bother.

One time I was selling an item on kijiji and a scum bag low baller made me an offer. I accepted his offer and and he came the next day to pick it up. As we are standing in my garage talking about it, I grabbed a sledge hammer and smashed the item right in front of him, I then said to the purchaser" there NOW the item is worth what you offered".

i HAD a friend who basically lives off kijiji and for that reason we are no longer friends. i sat at his house too many times watching him lie his face off to honest people looking for a product. he makes good money at it so i dont know if he is in the wrong but i just personally feel wrong about it. he started with a dirtbike and he is now dealing high end corvettes and heavy equipment. he will lowball someone or trade an item and by means of wheeling and dealing comes out ahead every time and pawns off the newly aquired item to keep going up the ladder. i supose thats just good business but what bothers me is the stories and lies. he will pick up a snowmobile or a bike and just make up lies and stories about it to move it as quickly as possible. i drew the line with our friend ship when i seen his dirtbike listed on kijiji with a fresh top and bottom end. i happened to be at the kids house when he purchased it and he was told the motor and clutch were basically on the way out. he pawned it off on some poor kid and to me thats just wrong. he does this stuff daily and its that reason i dont take lowballs with any seriousness. basically what im getting at is some of these people are just flipping CRAP on kijiji and covering it up with a layer of makeup. brings a whole new meaning to buyer beware imo. i think what he does is a crime. one day it will come back at him and someone will be on his doorstep waiting to knock his head off i guarantee. /end rant

Stupidest thing Ive ever heard...so to prove a point, you wrecked the item, and got nothing for it...

You would have been way further ahead to take the lowball offer...just sayin
