Met up with Kanedog today, and he took me on quite the tour. Way more than I was expecting him to show me. We covered a lot of ground today. Could be my new favorite spot.

Pretty much a jumpers paradise. Climbers Paradise too, some big pulls in there for sure, was a lil nervous the XP might **** the bed, but it made it through the day, and ran pretty much the best its ran since I got it.

Big thanks to Kanedog, you da man. Just a couple of dogs in park.

Cheers

First pull of the day, and a lot more of the same after. 146xp was working.

In your pictures, the one you drew out the red line, is that the first pull at the end of the trail essentially that put you on top. It looks like it is. If it is i have a couple stories for you. LOL The boulder in the middle is what makes it stand out.

Ya that's the one. You know why they call it the rental bowl eh.
That is where the touring company takes their tour, they stop there. I have seen 30-40 sleds there at one time trying to figure out how to get over on to the glacier when its deep LOL. But not necessarily with the tour, just saying.
Ya its easy on good traction day but also seen plenty wreck on it too. You don't need to go that way, you can go either right or left to get up.
I like to peel of to the right just before and you can climb your way up when its real deep. Remember one ride we rode most of the day and never saw a soul. Got to the top of that chute, sat there and looked at all the sleds at the bottom and not one figure how to get up, was getting late afternoon. When we got to the bottom dropping the chute guys were like how the hell...hahaha, never told them how too either, figure it out buddy.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
It was a great day! Fun fact-Both our screen names are named after our dogs at the time. Lilduke(possibly Little Duke) and Kane!
Our day was wicked! We linked up quite a few separate zones, did some butt tightening steep, blind big convex rolls, some climbs to get into other areas, took pics and got sun burnt. Lotsa changes in elevation down to the tree line and then back up to high elevation on the glaciers. My ears popped a few times throughout the day. Lots of trucks unloading but we saw minimal humans while riding.
We ride the same buddy system keeping each other in sight so it was like we had been riding together for years. Lilduke was shocked that I was so open to showing him cool spots. I think it’s cool that Lilduke now has a solid base of local knowledge to build on and share with others!
My fave was watching Lilduke doing steep uphill turns and 180’s on a hill that normally is a climbing hill.
We even found a zone I hadn’t been to!
5 stars, excellent, safe rider, would sled with again. Lilduke is the only sledder that can take longer than me to get ready and to load up. My long lost brother!!

Thanks homo! Haha That was one of my best first time S&M sled dates ever, right up there with EZmoke in the eagles pass!

Even though our riding styles are slightly different Id ride with you any time.

Cheers Dog!

So is that the biggest area in bc to ride? I thought renshaw was huge, but that looks to be 5 t0 10 times bigger?

I've rode Renshaw, and this blows it away IMO and supposedly that was only 5% of it.

Great pics, thanks dude. I too would go for that tour with the dog, given the opportunity. My friend Jordan is in Squamish this season too, you might have met him, he lived at Carters for a couple years.

Yeah think I've met him. I have a few old Revy buddies that have moved down this way.

Took a buddy from Lethbridge to Keystone back in the day before half of it was closed and he still talks about that day. He figured it was bigger than the whole Crowsnest Pass and Fernie areas combined. Lol. Whistler makes Keystone look like a porta potty.

I love keystone. Not nearly as vast as this area though
