love the 2012 CRF450!! i got an 08...wish it was efi...but oh well. basically stole this thing. traded it this year for my sled deck.....you read correct. buddy wanted a sled deck so bad and he had his bike sitting in a shed untouched for quite sometime. scared of it. i had a 09 marathon sled deck...traded straight across...LMAO.

this is how it looked when i got it:

That's a pretty sweet steal.
I pretty much stole my 450 myself.
Guy bought it, started it and went to leave his garage and threw himself off of it.
Got it brand new back in 2008 for $5000 with 3 stands, tie downs and ramp.
And last summer I replaced the entire engine for free because I had a hook up,
So its a 2008 frame, with 2011 everything.

ps- nice sled

crazy how many first timers buy a 450! my buddy never owned anything else either. another guy i know just bought a 2010 rmz450x. never even been on a bike before. i couldnt believe it. ive ridden bikes all my life, couple cr 250's, my last bike a modded DRZ400, and im still a bit scared of this 450...LMAO

Yeah......I love reading ads in the classifieds:

2011 kx450 4 sale. This bike is a rocket and is only for experienced riders. Wife says it has to go!

HA! You just know that he "whiskey throttled" himself into a tree or his house, or whatever because his ego said 450 when he should have bought a klx140!

Well I was planning on riding my CRF250 for another season but I cooked the motor while I was down in Moab last week. I'm saving my pennies to buy a KTM 300 XC/W as fast as I can. I haven't been bikeless since I was 14 and I don't like the feeling at all :(

no need to watch for ya dont have to cap the ends. just wrap area that is dented with a rag or towel. this will insulate this area having it freeze at the dented part LAST. fill with water and stand it in the freezer as to not let the water pour out. put it in over night. check in morning. came out near mint first try. might take a time or two.

good luck!

pic of the bike all spiffed up..lol
