Why do these "People" not just want things to run its course? If its warming... its warming... or cooling, what ever you believe. Oh... right, it's all about money and power!
The way the media portrays it you would think the Co2 levels were so large it is causing global warming. Well guess what the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is .03%
Wheres Greta when you need her? Lol

CO2 levels were about 0.0300% in 1909, today they are 0.0417%.
what’s everyone view on this, as a Farmer and family records going back from 20s, witch is very small compared to the earths age, it has been pretty recognizable, that something changed in my very own lifetime
the years of two or three times a winter of -40below as was when I was younger are distant memory’s, looking at pictures of ice on lakes, using two flights on ice augers, where last few years open water casting.. and then our summer moisture where the last 5 years we have had less than 20 inches of rain and in 2016 we had over 25 inches in the one year..
such large swings in weather patterns .. from fires that burnt down over 50 farms a few years back in one single fire, to a large area north of Edmonton not sowing crops this last year.. summer Hollidays last few years took us threw Alaska and ice fields where comments were alarming if ice and glacier melt.. even our sledding locations, revy today with very little snow in town, lots of rain, last year walks on snow to roof.. almost hard to believe
Almost two-thirds of people believe climate change is a global emergency, UN poll finds

governments and social media are trying to scare people, confuse them so they can't fiqure it out and then the government controls the agenda and people comply, Nazi Germany made good use of the technique. those that didn't follow the agenda just disappeared. they used the jews as their scape goat, just as they are making the white male the scape goat today!
So what happens when you increase the CO2 levels? Plants grow like crazy and release more O2. And any greenhouse effect warms the planet so oceans evaporate and make clouds which in turn cool the planet. The planet temperature is not on a run-away or it would have already happened. It is self regulating, really a beautiful system.

Hopefully she's on her way to china. She will certainly be listened to by the Chinese government like she was in Canada. Maybe our leader should take her to China?
The plants only release the O2 back that was consumed while generating the CO2 in the first place.
Clouds increase global temperatures, water vapour traps infrared radiation from escaping to space. Ever notice that on the nights with clear sky are the coldest? Cloudy nights are always warmer, because the clouds trap the heat. We notice it here all the time, the coldest -40 nights always occur with a clear sky. Gardeners watch for this effect also, clear nights are likely to freeze and therefore kill plants.
Yes the climate is self-regulating to a point, kinda like a gyroscope many of us had as kids, but eventually if you push it hard enough it falls over. Science can't agree where this tipping point is, but I believe its best that we don't find out through experimentation.

I saw a study that showed clouds overall effect reduce earths temperatures not increase them. Obviously scientists are even disagreeing about this. Night is different than day.
"Rising CO[SUB]2[/SUB]’s effect on crops could also harm human health. “We know unequivocally that when you grow food at elevated CO[SUB]2[/SUB] levels in fields, it becomes less nutritious,” notes Samuel Myers, principal research scientist in environmental health at Harvard University. “[Food crops] lose significant amounts of iron and zinc—and grains [also] lose protein.” Myers and other researchers have found atmospheric CO[SUB]2[/SUB] levels predicted for mid-century—around 550 parts per million—could make food crops lose enough of those key nutrients to cause a protein deficiency in an estimated 150 million people and a zinc deficit in an additional 150 million to 200 million."

The fact is the earth is warming, and largely due to human produced greenhouse gases. People can argue it all they want, the federal government is going to tax and regulate people into submission.
The only party that will take a different direction is the Conservatives, but they will never get voted in again without some major rethinking of party policy and a new direction on leaders for the party away from the status quo.
