At what point do people walk away from the blatant corruption that has taken hold over canada and the us. People are weak as fu**. They will gladly bend over backwards for the people that are actively trying to harm them and there families. But don't worry, they'll just keep telling you it's for democracy.

People leave Canada every day.
Actually the number they say has risen dramatically in the last 5 years. And it’s not immigrants and low income workers. It’s people in good paying jobs and business owners trying to escape the Trudeau governments draconian tax system and red tape. I know 3 people in the oil patch just off the top of my head in my circle.

I’m painting a house right now for a couple and their two kids. They headed down to Arizona a week ago. They are house shopping and buying a house and plan on selling everything in Canada and getting out by October.
Funny cause during the pandemic, I was painting off grid bug out shacks in the rural areas all over the place. Now I’m starting to paint homes for people fleeing our country

I'd be in the states right now if I didn't feel my job security with the company I work for was so good. Been here since 2010.
Pay in the states is the same as I make here; but figure financially too much to lose. Guaranteed mortgage free in 3 years vs starting at the bottom at a new company. Going farming like you homeslice is the end goal (got 2 qtr sections)

They must have special circumstances, because unless you have US citizenship, you can't just do that.

HIS wife’s from Arizona and married a Canadian. Somewhere along the way he also became a dual citizen and now his kids are too. His oldest is going to university there this fall.

Cool. I'd be interested to know. I have lots ot friends with homes in the US and vacation properties and most have well over 100k in the bank. I would love to let them know how they and the family become US citizens so they can stay longer than 6 months.
