My pleassure to help.. It is just that there is so much BS that surrounds this enigne.. I felt it would be good to try and get the real facts out there vs. the "fake" facts.

As for my heads and pistons.. We have ALL compression ratio heads, we make them all custom to order.. and YES the piston are in MANY boosted sleds.. they hold up great and are truly the best piston you can get for this engine.. NOTE: These pistons are specifically design to NOT have to be treated any different than stock.. It is all in the design....

What kind of added price would it be to get 13.1 ratio going? And one other question, if you have done as much testing on the poo's as I have now read do you recommend the oil increase like others have done? I didn't touch mine and have gone about 1500km stock and haven't really noticed anything bad and still get some good smoke.

There are no added charges for anything but turbo set ups.. Turning up the oil IMO is a good thing. also using a good oil is critical..

Thanks Kelsey for all the info. Think this is actually one of the most useful post for the poo's in a long time. I plan on ordering a kit but was wondering if your head is the stock compression? I could have missed it somewhere but I ask anyways. If its stock compression then are your pistons good for the extra compression and or even boost?

I have Kelseys dropin kit installed in my 800 pro with the a boondocker turbo added later and just changed the domes to a turbo dome. Have about 200 miles on it now with the turbo and it runs extremely well. So far I am really happy with this setup.

Heard another rumor on the 800 today..

1) RK Tek uses a largr diameter piston to tighten things up.... FALSE>> the piston we use is the same size as stock..it just stays the same size and does not collapse like stock.

It just keeps getting better!! LOL

Kelsey, Will the 14.1 heads be ok when I unload at 3500' and quickly climb to above 5000' sometimes?

Kelsey I have one of your heads and a helix for a tied clutch with your recommended springs, which you sold me , i assume after rigorous testing. If you pay for the shippingbi'll sell the whole package back to you for 25 per cent of what I paid you, you can resell em and make margin again, great deal for ya.
Oh, and they were only used a couple trips.
PS, maybe don't suggest the new buyer to call me for a reference, may not work out.

How much you asking ?

I do not think I am allowed to talk price due to the MODS gettting upset:confused:
Have you considered becoming a supporting vendor? I have no idea of what the cost is but I bet its not very much and seems to me this is a good place to hawk yer chit. Sounds like you have quite a few customers here already and lots more potential customers. Just a thought.

Mad Motorsports will also be offering a couple different polaris options this year. Option one will be cylinder porting(arctic edge motorsports), PAR 13:1 head, wossner pistons to combat the oem piston issues, slp can and single pipe, clutching and a pre mapped pc 5 installed ready to run for $3800.00 plus tax and shipping. The other option is going to be a cheater stroker you could call it which will use cat pistons, billet spacer plate(acomodate lower wrist pin location),cylinder porting, slp single pipe and can,PAR head, clutching, and pre mapped pc5. Option 2's pricing and mapping is currently in the works. Any questions please feel free to contact me at the shop 780 986 6370 I guess I should add that with option 2 we are hoping to achieve more of a power gain do to the fact the cylinder skirts will be raised out of the case's creating more case volume and less restriction in the case's

Thank you

Deano

not really following the longer stroke thing. the position of the piston changes but where does the extra stroke come from? do you change the crank as well?
