Can anyone offer any info on best tires for a 4 door Wrangler . I think I’m gonna just do a levelling kit for now cause I hate the front downhill stock stance, but don’t really want a lift in it ( for now). Thinking of going to a 285 75 , should fit ???, gives it a bit more height and more width than the stock 255 ‘s . Has duratracs on it now , great tire but wondering what Options there are , either better or just as good but less cost .

I ran 285/70 R 17 stock but don’t advise going with a 10 ply, to stiff and found it rough to drive

With a leveling kit, 285's (33") will fit no problem.
33 x 12.50 x 17 usually have more flex and a better ride for jeeps

Is a 12.50 wider than a 285 ? And will 12.50 stick out past the stock flares ( throw mud and crap by )

They will be a little wider, some tires are available in 11.50" wide also.
