Russel Lake near Castlegar

Russel lake is in the Norns range

The Norns range is north of Castlegar,,, The peak is Airy Mtn. 8200 feet

Some of the chutes have been pulled in TS 3, TS4 and TS6

Russel Lake is almost at 7000 feet

I'm the first to complete this climb, back in TS3 on the Mountain Max 800

Turtle Mtn. chutes Revelstoke

Dan Bush and myself were the first to climb these chutes back in 1998 and 2000,,, I never heard of anyone trying these before us anyways,, I may be wrong...

I'll post more after the Saskatoon weekend.. cheers everyone

Snows all melted up to 4000 ft... but still snowing up high,,, about a foot of firm pack above 6000 ft,,, need 4 more feet...
