Ok so the suns solar irradiance is dropping, so i am assuming that suppose to mean the temperature should be dropping? We do have the testing equipment on mars and mars has warmed up 1 degree Fahrenheit, so how the hell did our Co2 make it to mars?
https://www.nasa.gov/centers/ames/research/2007/marswarming.html

Now what the heck is " Solar Winds "

https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?feature=7369 our CO2 really did a magic trick making it to Jupiter.

So now we have 3 planets proven to be warming and it is not due to the sun. It is man made CO2 !!! Or the man made bank machine.

Shellfish build their shells from carbonate (Co3-2) which only exists in the ocean while the ocean is alkaline. At a pH of 7.0 the carbonate disappears into Bicarbonate (HCO3-) and many shellfish fail to grow and reproduce. The current drop in ocean pH is already have a serious effect on oyster populations.

So yes the ocean is basic, but it is moving to be more acidic, or acidifying.

And we had better pray it remains acidic because the amount of sewage and garbage we a dumping in the oceans. Cold acidic water less bacteria, warn non acidic water bacteria heaven. Anyone who has wells understands this concept, and has smelt sulfur first hand.. rotten eggs. If our oceans go back to this, which they once were. See how you like sulfuric acid rain.

anyone that doesnt realise that 8.1 is alkaline must have failed grade 9.

Ahhh you almost got me! Richard Lindzen is a scientist who doesn't think that there is a link between cigarette smoke and lung cancer. Also, what about this quote.. "Dr. Lindzen accepts the elementary tenets of climate science. He agrees that carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, calling people who dispute that point "nutty." He agrees that the level of it is rising because of human activity and that this should warm the climate." ?

He doesnt say that. He just questions the strength of the link and says genetic factors werent properly taken in to account. Nothing wrong with that?? Below is the info from wiki. And I dont think there is anything wrong with identifying co2 as a greenhouse gas and linking its levels to warming........Its the "sky is falling, hand over all money and power" approach that I think most people have an issue with. I think the negative impacts are being overstated, and the earth's ability to correct itself being underestimated. What do I know though.....I just practise climate science out of my basement. Just kidding, I dont have a basement.

The characterization of Lindzen as a contrarian has been reinforced by reports that he claims that lung cancer has only been weakly linked to smoking.[SUP][83][/SUP][SUP][84][/SUP] However, when asked about this during an interview as part of an Australian Broadcasting Company documentary, Lindzen said that while "the case for second-hand tobacco is not very good ... the World Health Organization also said that” (referencing a 1998 study by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) on environmental tobacco smoke (ETS)[SUP][85][/SUP]), on the other hand "With first-hand smoke it's a more interesting issue ... The case for lung cancer is very good but it also ignores the fact that there are differences in people's susceptibilities which the Japanese studies have pointed to."[SUP][86][/SUP] Again, when asked to clarify his position by a climate change denier, Lindzen wrote, "there was a reasonable case for the role of cigarette smoking in lung cancer, but that the case was not so strong that one should rule that any questions were out of order ... the much, much weaker case against second hand smoke [is] also being treated as dogma

Baffle people with bullsh!t to keep the expensive tax going. Every planet they had a means of checking temperature on showed increases. Great work Yasumasa Kasaba. I am sure snopes with a degree in absolutely nothing will be payed off to refute your findings.

So everyone should be free to pollute as much as they want with no economic penalty?

I don't think making average Canadians poor is going to solve anything. so if I can afford it I can just pollute as much as I want?

It is nice getting handouts from those that are carbon taxed isn't it? Socialism at its finest. But the real topic is, is man made C02 causing the warming. Dumping garbage in our oceans will kill us all though.

and why do we want to increase our population to 100million with 3rd world desert folks to cold ass Canada if we are trying to reduce our carbon output? whole thing is a bad joke

It has been widely accepted by most economic authorities that Canada will not be able to sustain itself indefinately with such a small population, particularly if we are not largely concentrated in urban centered. The article does not necessarily suggest that we fill that the void with refugees.
The Century Initiative primarily wants to target economic immigrants — not just doctors and engineers but also caregivers, those with a skilled trade and entrepreneurs.

are we trying to save the economy or the planet?
world is going to be over in 12 years they say lol

unless Canadians start having more kids these 100 million people are going to need to come from some where and the 3rd world is where they are coming from currently.
