Is Cataract Open??

There, I started a thread for everybody to argue back and forth when Cataract is open to snowmobiles without posting it in the thread were we had condition info.

But when you call the conservation office, which many people have done in years past, they tell you it is open as long as there is snow.

Been stoped many times before by a CO riding here before Dec.1 and have never had an issue. As long as my paper work was in order they never said anything about it being closed. Rode thanksgiving weekend 3 years ago and they just drove by and waved at us while we were unloading.

Same for me !!

let hope the gates are open on time this year and not till the middle of december....and lets get in there and start packing down that white stuff

The story that the conservation officer told us last year about the gates is that they were not unlocking them untill there was enough snow that vehicle with tires could not get past them.
