While I'm sure Apple is well within it's right (legally and morally) to sue for some design concepts, they are obviously trying to unfairly monopolize the market. Who suffers? We do! So for now, I give Apple a big finger. ...I say "for now" since they may soon try to patent that gesture too.

Ya it's kinda rediculous. I swear apple writes stuff into the code that actually slows down their older phones. I've got a 3gs that slows down after every update.

That or my tinfoil hat needs adjustment.

its just the same as older computers, takes more ram and a bigger processor to run ch!t, same as your older phones. My wife never upgraded her os on her 3gs and its the same as the day she got it.

It slows down because they add more and more features. Ios size has gone from like 200mb to 800mb so it makes perfect sense that the older phones take longer to run multi tasking and other features. I got a 64gb iphone 5 and use it as a forum reader and ipod because its not much for a phone in My opinion lol ill admit the large screen is nice but thats about it. And itunes is the devil lol Ill sell it for $950 unlocked if anyones interested. Can be used with any carrier. Comes with a nice case and accessories.

Anyone have a broken phone screen? Let me know i can fix it no problem. I own a cell phone repAir shop.

i just got a 5 the old bb died ... i dont kno these things are pretty cool but its like any electronics is absolete in a couple months or until someone comes up with newer and faster ... im not sure how they can make it much faster tho.. i do wish somebody would put a little more effort into the actual phone reception itself unless you are in the city it seems like no matter what phone you have or who your provider is reception is poor

The vast majority of cel users are in urban areas. Phone companies give a fawk about a few of us country folk.

The phone yes in my opinion is really no different other than size an shape compared to even a iPhone 3GS, I just got it instead of the 4s being its newer and it worked out that it came out when I eligible for an upgrade. Reason I got it over a galaxy s3 is an android blog did a drop test between the 5 and the s3 and the s3 failed. Never knew much about the htc, shows how good their marketing is.

I'm an S3 owner, and I saw that drop test too. Apple had to so something about their phone, they had to replace so many i4s because they were constantly breaking. I watched the drop test a couple times, and the S3 definitely got some worse falls than the i5, I think they should have been a little more scientific in dropping them, ie. trying to get them to land on the corner, or face. Instead they just dropped them in a spinning motion so it really is just luck how it hit the ground. Granted I was impressed by the i5 results, though I'm not sure what everyone is doing with their phones, I've never dropped mine (I'm sure karma will now have me drop it and kick it across the road now). That said I'm going to stick with my Android, hope they sort out all those patent issues soon, as it's going to hurt innovation. How Apple managed to get patents on things that were actually released before the iPhone will always baffle me.

Hmm after taking a closer look, I now realize that I mayhave been a little harsh on Apply. I suppose I can overlook Apple's fascist tendencies if they continue to produce products liket this.
