I rode the boost today. Fun sled and pulled 45mph track speed. My NA was about 37-38mph. 8 grand extra for 8mph and 2 years less warranty? I’ll pass.

8g on an aftermarket will get more than 7mph.
Where they both 165".

I dunno, the guy that was with us last weekend sure did appreciate the extra power of a turbo when his NA 165 got passed by mine 3/4 of the way up the hill, and I gave him a head start in 2ft of fresh.
A turbo has way more smiles to the gallon, doesn’t matter the brand.

I would not get hung up on numbers Randy, Trackspeed is so subjective, My sled last weekend was getting 44-45mph at a full chew turnout in over two ft of fresh.
Did the two Polaris sled have the same track and pitch, was one clutched and the other not? Was it out of break in?

Regardless, the turbo makes more power and trackspeed, 7mph is a decent gain in fresh snow.

8 Grand? I thought they were closer to 4g difference for same model? I was $3600 more for my doo turbo over the same model N/A with 3 years. I thought the Boost was similar.

Regardless of numbers there’s no doubt like you say seat of the pants both brands it’s a lot more fun on the turbo. The performance difference is very noticeable to an NA model as the turbo models get up on top of the snow and make more ground speed rather than struggling through.

My boost is $24.5k all in and my NA was $17k all in. NA doesn’t have the fancy gauge or shocks.

Dawizman will be requested for camera duties again.
Last time was not kind to the doo, beatin by a fat Cat.
We'll see how it goes this time.
His doo slated mid Feb though, but there are other Doo Ts in our group.
We're both to old for trick riding.

Hope i can make it. Looking pretty close at a second year boost. See how the first year holds up come March. Liked the feel of the matryx over the axys. Cat needs to pull a truck out of a hat to keep me interested. I love the way it rides, but I need more power, and I'm not all that interested in a mod sled and mixing gas.

43mph seems pretty slow for a turbo. My Alpha pulls right around that on a deep fresh hill.

Mine has 300miles. The boost was brand new. Both sleds are 165 track and stock. Both sleds wouldn’t start 13 miles into the ride because the voltage regulator was overheated which is downright embarrassing. Why would you put a crucial electrical component somewhere that it overheats?
