It started snowing about 5:45 am yesterday morning and by 10 am it looked like this....

Decided to pack up camp and head for home. Slopped through the mud getting in to set up camp, thursday, friday and saturday were nice sunny days and things started to dry up not bad. Didn't feel like slopping through the mud for 3 more days hoping for things to dry up.

I was standing 25 feet from a 2 yr old bull moose last night that was on the wrong side of a fence. Couldn't convince him to jump the fence to where I have permission!!

Boy he looked tasty.

If your looking for a spotter let me know, in all my years i've never been hunting but would like to give it a try just to say i been there done it.

I go out to the west of you and sometimes go alone, I will let you know. But you must close your eyes sometimes so you don't pick up bad habbits, window down.....LOL

I used to go every year and get a moose or deer depending if I had been drawn or just general. But it got to the point it is too expensive for what you get,.. now I just butcher a beef from the farm.

I still go out and shoot grouse,.. and occasionally go out and shoot some breakfast sausage if with the right company.
