how long do you predict the xm platform to be around?

Uh huh, torsion springs, quick clickers, drive chains, fat wide side panels, worst running boards on the market , and 40 ish extra lbs to make it last, t-motion bandaid to pretend it's a mountain chassis, uh huh, industry leading !!!!!
It's still an 08 XP, first Pro came in 2011 , first proride Cat in 2013, lots of issues with both but they're both moving ahead.
The Doo works well , and no doubt they'll be coming out soon with a new release, and maybe then they'll get to lead again for a while, narrowing ski stances and putting flex joints in skids ain't leading, it's hanging on . They're gonna lose quite a few riders this year, Cat and Poo are trying hard to gain share and it's working.
But I know it's pretty hard to see clearly if you're wearing the doogles !

Skidoo has one main advantage. 16" wide tracks. That's why I ride one. I'm 240 and it floats me better and I can keep up with the little fellas.

It's an opinion , You know, kinda like you're doing now. And I don't hate skidoo, they have some great qualities, just like the other brands. It's the thin skinned, uncertain if my choice was right, it must be the greatest cause I own one, crowd that seems to get butt hurt and whiny. And if you only own one brand, how the hell could you know it was best ?

i agree, but I also think it's not always an advantage, like most features, they're good and bad in different conditions.

I don't know Lenny personally but from seeing his posts over that last few months, I think that he owns a doo XM and a polaris.....I could be wrong....

I love my xm it's a nice sled, it might have "band aids" but it works. But if I bought a new sled it would be the new rmk 155. That's a 160+hp sled and with a can would be under 400#, that's crazy! Just hope there motors last I am a little gun shy because of my Dragon.
