I had a set of open Basset "twisted" BBC water injecteds on my first boat, those were the days lol now I have stainless Lightnings...

Anyone know a decent sandblasting outfit in the Edmonton/St Paul area? looking to get the firewall and underside blasted

Also looking for a powdercoater for the front clip and 4 link setup

Any tips guys?

How did you like the Bassetts?
Cheers!

Great quality pieces for sure, the water injection system was simple and clean. The plating on the headers got a bit darker after some heat but never blued.

Open header BBC, I dont think it gets much better!!

that would be a tough one to do with this old girl probably need alot of motor work in her haha
Been awhile since I watched the episode but I think all they did engine wise was swap on a tunnel ram and dual carbs. In a later episode they swap the intake and put a single carb on it and it beats a hellcat on a track day lol.

Hahaha. She drove the 5.7L Hemi Summit. I didn't even bother. But, I made sure I was the first to drive the SRT. :D

The old minivan's days are coming to a close and a Grand Cherokee is what I am "suggesting" to the missus.
But Just the V6, i burn enough tires in the Challenger.

The Grand Cherokee SRT is all wheel drive (also the fastest production 1/4 mile Mopar), so you won't be burning any tires off it.

Are you sure about the 1/4 mile time? The 2016 SRT8 does 13.1 in the 1/4 from what I can find. This is quite a stretch behind the Challengers and Charger hotrods no?

On paper, there's about a 2 second difference in favor of a Hellcat. Go out to the track and watch them in real world conditions. Those Hellcats can't get traction if their lives depended on it. Same with the Vipers.
