I don't know the true story, but for a movie it's pretty good.

The people of Mcbride know the true story. I just hope that the movie didn't insult any of the fine people of Mcbride. I realize that the movie was inspired by actual events but why couldn't they keep it closer to the real story? I'm sure the Jecks weren't portrayed in the proper manner. Just my opinion.

When the sleds were coming up halfway through to help, looked like the opening right after the trail to the cabin..... oh well....

Laughed hard on all that 1 ski lift.... and all that yipping like a scene off of a old Duke Movie.

Hahaha ya I thought the same thing, sounded like our cattle round up.
Thought the movie was pretty decent. Except the wolf attack.

Great job to all the people involved with the rescue!!

Glad they made it into a Christmas Movie, Good chance we will see it again next year. For a change snowmobilers were looked at with a positive image. Wasnt to OK with the yipping when you seen them coming.
Snow and mud was shown and said they were giving money. That parts good. Overall I liked it.

It was a great movie!! Did they ever find the owners of the horses?? What eventually happened to them (the owners)?

I thought it was a great movie.... wasn't too sure from the beginning, but in the end. Good movie. definitely gave sledders a good name and showed committment from everyone within McBride and throughout Canada with coming to help. Very touching! was neat to see SnowandMud used within the movie as well.

Have not seen any story that has been made into a movie that follows the story, seems they always feel they can re-write history and it will make a better movie

Have read the book and got to meet the author, as well as a a few of the other people that are the story .... and I think it's a great story and was very excited to hear about the movie.

Hit PVR and went cross country skiing last night so will watch it tonight and post my opinnion.
