Guides in Nelson

I am planning a solo snowboard trip to Nelson for New years. Is there any guides , or better yet, someone willing to take a single rider for a tour? I'm a experienced sledder with all the gear ,AVI level 2, and current model year sled .

You could always call MainJet in Nelson and see if they recommend anyone.

I might be there for New Years but my plans are rarely set in stone. I will be heading the way either the 26th or 27th Dec but depending on conditions will eventually make my way to Sicamous and Revy. I spend more time in that area than I do Calgary and there are not many spots I haven't ridden there.

Thanks for the reply . I'm planing to be In Nelson on Dec 29 Th. to Jan 3 rd and would be willing to change plans ,different area, connect with a group / solo sledder , better conditions , whatever the scenario I'm flexible. When you have a more definite plan keep me in mind .

It's pretty hard to beat touring at kootenay pass, sledding we are still hitting rocks an buried logs. Hopefully the next few days fix that. Also a lot of alder bashing right now too. We just are not getting as much snow that north of us is having this year. But at least I can ride out from my door now.
