I had heard if Rodgers pass is getting snow then quarts is? Well if that's true quarts should be getting some good snow now from what the highway cam is showing!

snow is coming! It snowed 20cm at 6000' today over a 12 hour period!! It's looking pretty out there!! I'm not going to lie, she is gonna be thin especially down low, but might be time for a little exploration me thinks!!

Not quite, If is, it will usually be less. Depends on the direction of the storm and the intensity. Usually if its puking on the pass, it is snowing lighter on the east side of the tunnels. Usually colder and drier pow though.

on sundy 75cm at quartz cabin. +5 temps. crust down 10cm. creeks were an issue for those not "experianced" in that kinda ch!t show ...
add 20cm of wet snow ...

it puked hard all day yestdy on the upper bench but all melted off 2day.

apparently our crew is going snowboarding/snowshoeing at quartz this weekend,
we'll let u know wot we find ...

yes with only 20cm of wet snow. keep in mind it rained to 6000ft !!!
but I just looked at highway cams for rogers pass and its puking !!!
tyring to snow here on the upper bench and -1 temps

today reached a high of -4 on the upper bench. I was hiking with the dogs looking for new terrain in -9 at 1500 hours, and about that for meters too. no luck ... well maybe with 4 guys 4 days and 4 chainsaws ...
anyone keen ??? it will b worth it !!!

and yes, some one did promise photos on satdy nite of quartz creek.

no I will not be taking my sled out this weekend.
but there wa a fark ton of trucks with sleds in town today! ... with snow on them !!!
