OK, just go up silent. Hang a left off trail before McMurdo cabin turn off. I believe it KM 50? cross sketchy bridge and ride up the drainage. Find my tracks in the tress and you go it!

Yes. Gorman actually was really good. Stay on north facing slopes. So much so that the ski hill was blasting.


Use CAUTIOn on these slopes, stuff was moving on Sunday, nothing large. Just a small 12” layer of fluff.

No trail fees

Trail rock hard, starting to get whoops.

If you have a deck, drive to the first log block with the big turn. Beyond that right now is dumb, there’s still plenty of snow on the trail past that. I would not take a trailer beyond the parking lot unless you wanna be that donkey!

I’ll repost my Gorman photo since you lamers can’t figure it out. This is the hill across the valley from the warming hut!

Silver mines a decent run. Trail is rock hard ice, chain saw action necessary for cooling. Snow is about 6-8” deep. Tons of snow left in this area. Claimed a couple good climbs to the top.

Just for reference this was Quartz road around 4 km coming down yesterday. Getting pretty mucky below here.

6-8km people were staging. You're driving up the hardpacked ice trail pretty much right from the bottom still. Although the lower few km were turning to soup at end of the day.
