This was from Tuesday, before this big storm cycle hit! Was a lot of snow for November 10 but we played real safe as we have all winter to ride. I would think it would be pretty much good to go after this weekend, the creeks were almost covered but the rocks were still obvious is most places. Gorman seems a little ridiculous if you ask me as most of the small ponds up in Quartz were still pretty soft so Gorman lake can't be very think just yet!
Was pouring rain on the highway when we drove by Quartz this afternoon for what its worth. Poured all the way from Sicamous past Golden. Lots of fresh snow around Lake Louise to Bow Summit to Sask Crossing. Hwy 93 wasnt good at all
Rode quartz today and yesterday. Saturday was tits deep bottomless snow. Sunday the snow had a snow pack starting to develop. Both days were deep. One more good dump or two and should be good to ride all of it. Only hit a few rocks today. Watch out for the creek!
Rode Quartz today. Awesome snow, very deep in some spots. Like mentioned, watch out for the creek! Trail wasn't groomed in the morning, but he made a pass that afternoon.
Was at quartz today. Still lots of good snow. Vis was terrible. Snowed all day. A good 12" on the trucks in the parking lot. Tomorrow would be a good day with all that came down today.
Shot of the lake yesterday lots of pow to be had. Trail through trees is good. Creek before waterfall was smashed out by day's end. Waterfall is good to get up. Another nice day yesterday
