45 min from quartz to rogers pass and 45 min to parking lot at boulder. if road conditions are good a little quicker for sure

I drove past quartz yesterday and parking lot was looking pretty snowy. Didn't see any trucks from the highway but I bet everyone's been riding from there.

Anyone looking for riding buddies this week? I'm off work and keen to get out. Live in Golden, pretty safety conscious (AST1, AST2, Crevasse rescue training, 90-hour Wilderness first aid) and a reasonably capable rider. I'm a rider, not a drinker - save that for the end of the day.

Highway cam shows fresh snow at Quartz, but the cabin webcam doesn't look like much changed. Highways look much snowier towards Revy

Get snow forcast, get the ski hills added and cat-heli ski places and will tell ya who-what-when-where lol

Went to Gorman..easy 2.5 feet to 3...
good early season conditions...
lots of landmines...
but we just stayed in other people's tracks...
Got up to the top..and looked at dropping into Lang..
no go...lots of rocks still showing.
we talked to a few locals..
snow is better at Gorman than quartz..
it's pounded there and hasn't snowed in the last few days
