Would take to long to plow on any size dump.
Grader slower but cheaper to maintain.
Ya it's a toss up probably. One thing is if it's groomed you can cover that 30 km way faster on a sled then in the pickups.
How far up the road is the corner to go down to rocky point? I believe that's what it's called? Will they be plowing down that road?

Much safer to travel on the sleds than drive up there as well. If they keep it groomed, should be a highway.

Around here graders are very pricey. What's the availability of a grader in parson, that wouldn't be tied up with logging? Sometime in March I was headed in and a dually dodge was plowing the road. That's gotta be hard on a pickup

Yes that's the one. That's a fairly major road heading down that direction. How many km up is it

I mean on the logging trail to silent. I always see people unloaded pretty far down on the trail that are gone off into other areas.

Oh gotcha. There's one ride to the north at about km 40 ish. Nice little area for skiing and such not a huge spot.

Looks like 40+ cms in the forecast for this week! Fingers crossed! Awesome supportive base up there right now of between 46-100cms. Very firm base. Should be an awesome start to the season. I hope the next few storms come in fairly warm to help bond to this base. Braaaap! I was out in Quartz last week just up to the cabin and back and was impressed by the condition of the early season trail!! Hoping after this week we will be able to ride from the parking lot.
It's snowing in town right now!! Less then 1cm / hr.

I’m heading to Quartz for a couple hours Saturday if anyone wants to poke around at 1/4 throttle and scratch the itch. Going to be a beer and natchos ride just to get out of the city.
