getting too much fuel..

k i got a problem with my 09 m8 turbo(pump gas), its getting to much fuel, well i think so anyways.. when im out and about riding around to get a feel of the sled, seems its my first turbo sled... well i cant get any fun time with the sled cuz the egt ( digitron box), will go up to 1200 in no time... now can i fix that....::cool:

I'd say your not getting enough fuel or running the wrong fuel. How many pounds of boost are you running? Who's kit is it? What fuel controller is on it? What is your fuel pressure set at? Please give us some more details.

High egt's can also mean you are rich but not enough octane and it is burning into the pipe.

But I agree not nearly enough info.

What he ^^ said. Too much fuel can give u a false high reading since it burns in the pipe.

hey, well im running 91oc pumpgas, and running a maksure of race gas (c11). about a 70-30... its set on 8lbs of boost right now, and its a bd set-up full system. plus it as a digatron box..

Boss seat warranty

HEY...

OK i have an boss seat on my m8, and its falling apart, zippers are busted, and where its attach to the tunnel on the sled, will lip is coming off.. so would the warranty cover theses issues... :cool:

Here is the easy thing to try:

Add more fuel, if it gets hotter, you know you are going the wrong way...

OR

Take some fuel away, if it gets hotter, you know you are going the wrong way.


You have a 50/50 shot at this point, if you are sensible about this it won't take long to get it sorted.

k sounds good ill try that, add fuel or take away fuel, and c which one makes er run hot...

from what i understand your running a pg boondocker setup. why not call them or use the baseline numbers im assuming they supplied and go from their?
