frontflip??

who thinks and does not think it is possible to do a frontflip on a sled? i dont think it is! my theory: i dont think you can keep pushing on the bars to complete the rotation! in a backflip your pulling not pushing and pushing is harder!!!!! just a thought.

I have almost front flipped OFF my snowmobile haha... but I think it would be dang hard to do on a sled... if not next to impossible!!...lol

have done several front flips, complete 360 +, only required sled for initial launch, flew like a bird 60 to 70 ft. maybe you can demonstrate with the sled, start small like 50 mph to get the feel of it, take lots of pictures.
please get lots of insurance as we the tax payers should not have to pay for your paralysis and medical bills, maybe ask mommy or daddy to see if this is a good idea.

I say explore Youtube there's vids of front flips on there, can't remember if they were successfully landed though it's been awhile since I watched the vid. I promise you it can't be done on a Yamaha.

When your doing a backflip you are pulling on the handle bars but you also have the throttled pinned, the rotation of you track also helps finish the back flip. When your doing a front flip your just going to be pushing the handle bars, thats why I would say you would be lucky to rotate enough to land upside. You could lock up the brake when doing a front flip, the track suddenly stopping might help in getting the sled to roll forward, but it probably won't help much.

This is a perfect example of my HUGE dislike of freestyle, as iam sure anyone with kids is. The proliferation of the stunts has pushed the envelope so far towards the extream its almost and invitation to suicide.
Here is a young man who doesent even own a sled talking about trying a backflip as soon as he gets one.
Kid, i beg you to procede with great caution, the guys that can pull these tricks with ease are freaks of nature, you are likely not. What they dont show you the skyrocketing number of severe orthopedic injurys that result from these stunts gone wrong,the months or years of physio or worse.
