Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
How many years does this crapshow have to continue b4 heads are gonna roll?
This is year 3 and sweet fa has improved. It's actually gotten worse. It's simple clutching ffs. How can something so simple be so hard for Brp clowns? I was going to call them engineers but real engineers can figure out simple cvt heat issues in well under 3 years. Unlike Dominic Tessier, a Brp so-called engineer and his team of idiots.
Here's some estimates for the french bean counters-
Bad publicity-$250,000,000 cost in future sales
$50,000,000 in warranty claims and lawsuits.
It's a great business model to put out a faulty product and then screw the consumer by denying warranty claims.
Shareholders sure put up with a lot of corporate incompetence these days.
Oh ya, I almost forgot. Fire the Brp genius who purposely cranked up the oil usage by 150% to sell more oil. The beauty reason for more oil usage? A 169hp engine needs 2.5 times more oil than a 163hp engine. Wtf.
The above are my beliefs.

2019 sales will be strong, why would the change anything?

They said the were gonna work on clutching for 2019, they don't even know if they have it dialed yet........

French Engineering Team. Lead hand dictates while others are scared to ask questions. Need to change lead hand out, before change occurs. Likely lead hand related to CEO of company (therefore no change). Another issue French Engineering pick the path for most resistance. Stuff that should be simple, becomes complicated. Don’t ask me how I know. I just know (after many frustrating sessions). Overall product is good. But it could be much better.

Unfortunately the problem is not all clutching related, lots of other issues that’s causing belts to explode.

Yes, there are issues starting from the engine and primary all the way through the drivers even extending to the track. Imo, the drivetrain and handling is full of problems and cannot be fixed unless there is a complete chassis and drivetrain redesign. Ya listening Dominic Tessier and Brp ding dongs? What, 3 years of exploding belts and popped motors isn't enough evidence? Whats is gonna take? FOUR years of pain and suffering?
I thought life was about learning from mistakes. Not covering up mistakes with lipstick. Joke. What a joke.

You're an idiot. I'm curious......what actual technical qualifications do you have exactly?

Why is it that all the 850's I ride with have been great. No problems at all! I am looking for a new sled next year to replace the trusty T3 and am very puzzled. How can you tell the hype from truth? Actual numbers on failure percentages would be good... If any sled goes through 4 belts in 2 days it has to be a setup problem.

Gotta be.
Owners probably are not checking belt deflection.

Can't really say. All I know is the one I have has been trouble free. Sems to be a crowd on here moaning and whining about them and they don't have one of their own. Not sure what their deal is.
