Fire and Ice Tensioner adjustment help

Bought one of these at the Snow show , bolted it all up , just curious how exactly it should be set up , would it be better to have ot fairly tight to the belt to help it hold tension ? or would it be better to have it just slightly touching the belt ??? Anyone installed one of these before or tryed one? thanks

Should have10-20 thou clearance between belt and pulley.

Do not put tension on the belt..... 10 thou clearance is what it needs to be. You can go to firenice web site and check it out.
