Fernie Snow Conditions 2017 - 2018

I know its still early but.....anyone know what December riding conditions are shaping up to be?
Looking at planning a trip the week of December 14th if conditions are right, so hoping we can start this thread going with updates for the 2017-2018 season.

Some years we have ridden Remembrance Day. Other years it has been later. It was good for a road ride after the last storm but.............imo that was something for the dealers to relish in.

They are forecasting 7 days in a row of snow beginning on Monday. Might be the start. Last year it was -28C on the 17th of December and riding got exciting on the 23rd. Always hard to say, one year to the next.

im going up coal creek in the morning hunting and figure this is going to be the last of driving up there if the weather man is correct for next week

Went for a quick tour up to the notch yesterday. Need about 4’more before I’ll be heading out again. Just had to get out and crack that throttle!

+10 yesterday and heavy rain all night long can't be good. This pineapple express that moved into BC can leave any time now

My son had 2 ft of snow in his yard in Sparwood a week ago. All gone now.

Around 15cm on the Griz cam at the hill...10 cm or so in town last night...hovering near 0 degrees in town.

Well with all the warm weather and the lack of snow think of the savings! LOL not buying all that fuel.... booze.... food we shouldn't be eating..... Ya it sucks doesn't it. Doug its time for you to do the famous snow dance buddy

Oh boy. Hopefully things make a turn around in the next week. Yes Doug a snow dance would be appreciated. Does anyone have any recent pictures?

Well guys, the forecast, according to the meteorologists doesn't look promising. The models they are in favour of, only have minimal snow in the next 14 days. Lots of sun and warmish weather but not a lot of precipitation. I will give it a try and I doo know there is power in the audio, the icons, and the thoughts for the power of the Snow Gods.....................

something has to change. My hunting is over so I really want to sled but I don't want to wreck my new sled with very little snow conditions
