Staged at 42.5 on Lodgepole and had any where from knee deep to crotch deep penetration when off the sled.

Snow was sticky in some places and had the largest wedge of snow I’ve ever seen building in front of my sled...

Was snowing like crazy when we started down lodgepole at 5 ish then rained on the lower part of the road. It was a great day of riding...winter is not over.

Staged at Coal Creek and there was no dirt. Rode fresh snow all the way today. This is the top of the probe at 230 cm and had to dig another 80 cm to get the probe to the dirt. So in the trees, I probed 310 cm today. There was generally 30 cm of fresh and it snowed all day. Trail is getting rough but still not as rough as it was last year in the middle of the grooming season.

Whomphing and snow settling today with the skis breaking the crust in some places. A great day of spring riding.

Nice! Thanks for the intel.

Sleds are loaded. Be out Friday. Hopefully it doesn't warm up too much.

Cheers

Pretty good spring ride yesterday. Definitely mashed potatoes, but we were the only tracks up behind the cabin around by the power lines and had a blast hitting all the natural jumps with some soft landings.
Rode pretty well all day with no jacket and sleeves rolled up......I shoulda wore sunscreen. I burnt. Lol

Coal Creek lot was fairly wet and muddy, but still firm underneath. Trail was whooped but better once it softened up on the way down. Some gravel showing but still rode snow all the way.

Probed anywhere from 280-300 CMS at treeline on north facing slopes.

Cheers to another great season.

Pretty hard up there today, till afternooon when it turned to Slurpy. Great day though. Unloaded at the first bridge on Coal Creek. Dirt is showing up pretty quick.

I'd like to come to Fernie for the day on Saturday. Two sleds on a deck. Where can I go to unload? Where from there?

Unload at the first bridge on Coal Creek. Some dirt from there but you'll get to snow pretty quick. Can't drive across the bridge yet. Like most places this time of the year it's bumpy.

Thanks moyiesledhead! No body wants to ride this weekend though. They're all tired of snow! I may be done for the season.
