It's that time to start this thread. Snow today and more coming this weekend. I was up around the cabins on the Sunday and there was no snow then but I'm sure there would be snow there now. Hope this season is the best yet. Can't wait to get out there

Noticed it was looking stormy down south so went for a drive Sunday, down the ram creek area.

The goal was to go until we made tire tracks.in the snow, and maybe even a snow man.

Around marker 50, we finally made that happen.

Where abouts is the ram cabin anyway?

Ride Fernie quite a bit but always the notch, would like to tag along with a group maybe this winter to learn some new areas. You can keep your secret stashes all to yourself and I will understand I just want to expand my areas is all.

Thanks

I'm kinda, sort of, maybe thinking to go on Sunday. Just thinking sure would be great to start to break in my new sled but then I think I sure don't need anything broken on my new sled just because I went out early

Latest forecast is calling for 40 CM in Fernie...by the looks of it, the old Honda is gonna be coming out of the shed tomorrow.

First ride today. Played it safe all day. Lots of landmines. Well worth to start to break in the new sled. Probed twice, one was 70cms the the other was 85cms. What we did see was the Morrisey road is PLOWED. Didn't make it to the wranglers cabin due to the plowed road. In all a great first day
