What's the minimum number of acres a guy would need to make a living just farming these day? I guess probably a lot less if you were raising livestock, but talking just growing crops here?

Grandpa sold out in the 80's, as trying to make a living farming 2 quarters was a futile endeavor once the kids left home.

Depends if land is paid for. If it's paid off like 500 acres. If you're renting/making payments somewhere over 3000. I've yet to make any though lol

Need a new I phone. Pics are fuzzy but Shootens feedlot in silaging my write off canola. This is on my he section already combined. I’m sure it will be coffee shop talk in the community. Haha. IMG_5359.jpeg

My organic neighbour left me another Phucking mess for me to deal with again this year. A day and a half of digging kochia out of my yard and shelterbelt and only one SW wind event to doing it all over again.
