We're digging in pretty deep for moisture, makes for tough pulling but if it doesn't rain a lot will help it make something I hope

Wish I seeded slightly deeper a lot of my dryland durum has seeds stranded in dry soil or got a little rain which was just enough to get them to sprout and then die. Our land isn't exactly level either so the seed placement isn't bang on.

Ours is by no means level. And ruts from wet yrs. etc
Thought once we got off lentil stubble seeding durum it would be easier pulling in the durum stubble putting in lentils but no. Staying at same depth just for the moisture.
Need more HP lol I'm on the flat yet. Not sure what I'm gonna do when I get to the hills.

I had the same problem last year on some of mine. Had crop insurance out and they figured I was screwed. Got a bunch of rain and it all came back. Those seeds seem to find a way to survive.

Planted 200 acres last Sunday and been raining ever since. 600 acres of corn left and 1500 acres of beans. Looks like it'll take a week at least now of good weather before we can roll again. They are talking lows for the next couple nights around 32 to 38. The corn that is up looks tough and bad color, lots of dampening off. Very few beans in around here just laying there getting desiese now. Still not good

About 8/10ths of an inch here so far. A lot less than what was originally forecasted for here. Family east of Brooks are well over 2 inches already.

Around 36-47mm in granum and nobleford area. Very needed. Dry corners just starting to make rows thought they were doomed.

I am located north of Edmonton.
The truck with hoist and drill fill has been shedded since I have had the truck.
It is in really really good shape.

I have cleaned out my PM also on the site.
Will send you a few pics later today.
