Neighbor in law just bought a new sprayer and Agriterra has it right in the contract if they can't fix it in 48 hrs then a loaner is in the yard untill they get his going and he catches up.
Western Tractor in Southern Alberta has the same guarantee for their Greenlights as well. Cervus doesn't feel they need to apparently because of their huge monopoly

I dont know who the dealer is for you but give a Claas a try while your contemplating green. I'm not a guy that walks around believing in color brand specific but I'm quite happy with overall performance of this combine. Been to Nebraska and liked what I heard. They seem to handle rough conditions better then the Deere however when they plug its not gonna be good. I have had two experiences in tough grain that was a invested 6-8 hrs. Its a learning curve but speed is the only factor that caused both. I was pulling 40' of tough wheat 18-17 running 50-75 at 5+ before the engine stalled :rolling:

North Central Alberta....North and NE of Edmonton....Athabasca, Grassland, Smoky Lake, Westlock, Lamont and surrounding areas....other than the few guys doing peas, many farmers have not turned a wheel in their combines yet

I doubt I could ever leave Deere. Solid product and have always had good luck with them. This particular problem was a human issue not a manufacturer issue. Would probably switch dealers before colours.

Went looking for geese at Hollow Lake.
Three farms combined.
2 peas one barley.
Worst year out there I can remember and I'm pretty old.
Three years in a row of cappy fall weather.
Dam near impossible to get crops off again unless global warming actually kicks in.
Feel bad for the guys that rent from us.

You're right, if this turns out to be a poor fall, I think Ritchie Bro's will have a good spring....nobody wants that! Octobers have been known to be nice weather....one can only hope.
