I would say Yanton and the Zastone are the same radio, I have no complaints with radio8688. He had my radio in the mail in 1.5hrs time. Shoot radioddity took 5 days just to process my last order and it is still not mailed. I bet I receive my order in 5 days.... oh wait orders.

I have tested at least 2 dozen different radio's over the years, location sharing radio maybe the cats azz, I wish someone would jump on this and give some feed back. If the price is too good to be true.. it is. I know I have had 3 different radio purchases over the years that were too good to be true.

Zastone has a two prong baofeng type connection for a mic, no more waterproof with this removed. It says you must have a 10watt antenna, I just used 771 and ut-106. I was using a bridgecom mic as one of the Zastone ptt switch as issues. So far the bridgecom mic is a darn good one ….60 bucks though.

Our SAR team just set up location sharing radios. Tracks position with simplex even if you are voice communicating through a repeater channel. Shows directly on Garmin Basecamp. We're using Icom units, pretty cool.
