The 1887 trail is slowly fading away,,, trappers cabin is pretty much toast...

A few Cofffeee Vokacheeno's breaks...
I hiked-a-bike in a few spots but the terrain was mostly easy...

Back at it in the am,,, talk about great weather...

Morning coffee, prep for the day and dry the boot-gear...

20 minutes on the throttle at Mach-9 and the gear will be dry,,, I did this same thing when living in the mountains of bc when I was a sled-dude...

A person gets crafty when living off grid,,, I need too do more of it fore-sure !!!

I'll catch a easy trail today...

I had a great sleep as it dipped down too 12c threw the night...

I hit up the Twin lks and Crimson lake loop yesterday...

12 ish miles for a part day ride,,, I'll definitely return for a few evening ride on those trails...

Low pressure 29'ers or fat tires if a person wants too run the sand pockets,,, 92 ish % is hard pack...

A few climbs back there,,, hike a bike or bring e-assist...

There's lots of sections for easy rolling...

And its 4 minute's out of Rocky Mountain House...

Stage out of Twin lakes camp ground,,, lots of parking or unload off of hwy 11 ditch

I'm definitely hitting up that area and a few other ( Wild-cat trails) in the area...

Lots of rollys if a person can get a run at them...

Trail dusters on a few turns and switch-backs... lol

I got 1 low-ball offer for the Grapefruit so I'll keep it and ride...

One thing about the analog is it's lite and nibble

I dropped it off at my fiends shop for a work-over and a few add-on's,,, hopefully a few more rides before the snow flys...

The fall temps have been fantastic this year ,,, I hope that others got a chance too get out there and take it in...

Be'ing out there is good for the soul...

Yuppers,,, I thinn'ed out a few bikes and been organizing my shed too accommodate pedal-bike crap...

I'll drop off the Flying-Pig for the winter tune-up next week...

Spoke tension and brakes,,, I'll run the cake-eaters this season then switch over too the 45 Norths...

I don't mind drifting the icey corners once in awhile,,, but I find it wizer too too hook-up too the road surface'es and icey down-hill decents on the bush trails...

Frozen tree root section's are fun too practice on,,, they get a person puck'ered up rolling into them with tight switch-backs

Ahhhh yes,,, I'm positive the 2024/25 season will be a blast...

My telly so far is:
- 15.000 kms in transport too staging-area (s)
- $2000 ish all in with fuel be'ing that alot of the further rides were paided for...
- Just closing in on my 2000 bike-miles with 100 ish rides ...

A slow start this spring too early summer...
The winter miles worked out...

Got too run,,, get things at work sorted and maybe catch a evening ride if it rains,,, hopefully they get Grapefruit dialed in...

Oh yes,,, the xc is up and runn'ing,,, single track switch-back trails today...

The 29'ers shine on the rutt'ed section's,,, way less pedal-strikes...

This log cross-ing didn't go as planned... vvv

I had too hike 1 or 2 climbs which is ok,,, it definitely helps too keep me mobile...

Everything checked out on the 300 mile service,,, spokes were spot on,,, my friend threw on a new chain being that the cassette is well within spec...

I failed too tell you folks about the clay trail and rock thing too get the chain too function,,, next time I'll find a creek or river to splash the chain for cleaning... lol... it got streched by evil-doing's

Normal they do a chain and cassette replacement at the same time,,, I had too buy a replacement dropper-post because the original unit end'ed up on my e-bike...

Yuppers,,, I'll get the use out of this analog bike,,, mostly local stuff,,, a few trips too the citys,,, out-west and bc for a few rides when I can...

Got too run,,, I'm chasing rain clouds in hopes of catching up... lol

You can’t tell from pic but it is STEEP. I somehow tried to bail and was able to spin bike around and only went a few feet down the hill. Buddy behind me said it was quite the show, lol.

Wow. Sounds like it worked out best it could. Definitely don’t wanna fall off that little bridge. . It’s easier going the other way for me. I was riding alone and I just finished smoking one lol I was pretty chill. It killed me not to ride it. That’s such a good trail from the top of groat rd all the way to the Fort Edmonton bridge is wicked. I rode it once fairly normal and then I went back and I ripped it coming home. I feel like I’m hauling ass for an older fella lol. My cardio is still killer.

Stuffed the rail into the trees then hiked into a remote lk on the edge of a mountain...

No shortage of roads/ trails/ fire lines and the nooks...

Beautiful temps for sure...

I can see that this 100 mile area being part of my play ground...

10's of thousands of trails everywhere...

45 km today. Mostly stuck to a single track up and down honing and practising getting faster. Trails were pretty busy so I couldn’t go full yay yay.

I've been Chewing up some interior trail in bc,,, fantastic weather,,, a bit of snow rolled threw a few nights ago...

A smidgen chilly this morning...

40 miles due too a wrong turn,,, lol,,, as if it wasn't worth checking out other areas...

Pretty steep climbs and decents in spot

The trails get narrower the futher in...

I stuffed the bike in-behind a ridge and hoofed it in too the old cabin...

I could of biked in all the way but i had time too put the boots too work,,, spotted a Goat off in the distance...

Goats,,, Sheep,,, Caribou,,, Grizzly's,,, cats and Wolves... the odd Wolverine's have been spotted in the area...

Waaaaay off grid away from civilization...

The home of the Ice Caps...

30 too 40 Glaciers all in veiw from this range...

Its been years since ive been on the back side of this one,,, its claimed a few snowmobiler's that have never been recovered

Indeed it is,,, its definitely off most folks radar...

More Snow up top gang,,, hopefully it keeps rolling in...

There are 17 Crow-foot ravines running off of the 3 combined mountain peak's...

Lush green since some of the foliage is just coming around in the late-fall temps...

The South/ West facing valleys get the most of day time highs ...

The Goats are taking full advantage of it...

I climbed one ridge too sneek in the views...

I'll climb some of the higher peaks next time in,,, Pup-tent and Rigging next time in...

I'll see if i can find some caves back there...

The main main is single track,,, after that its boots on the ground too cross the Big Plateau (s) up top in the veriaty valleys shootings off in every direction...

Alot for time too explore the vast terrain up there,,, there's a high elevation ridge that connects too the next series of Mountains that zero humans explore...

Its 1 of the smaller Ice-Caps... vvv

Most likely a ((( ice cave ))) where the tributaries flow out,,, its like stepping back in time when the ice-age started too appear 10 or 15 thousand years ago...

I'll definitely grab a few rocks from that aer ...

Another 40km tonight. Beautiful afternoon. My niece brother and I took off. In this pic she front brake panicked and down. Gas gas not a scratch. Her thumb is sore. I was ripping and she was pacing me. Fatigue and poor decisions.
