Awesome. They are a lot of fun, Harley’s sit while the old guys rip. Feels too good to get a pump on and elevate the heart rate.

So Rookie Question, is there weight ratings on these things?
Not necessarily. Only downside to being a big guy is battery. With a fat tire style bike they all come with pretty hardy batteries. My thousand watt fat tire will take me about 65 km on a full charge if I do lots of hills and climbs with peddling. Flat ground, it would probably easily do 100 K.
The downhill bikes like the one I just posted for my niece I believe is rated up to 250 pounds.
Bruce is around 250lbs.
They haul him no problems.

^^^ That's one wicked bike brother,,, the niece will be happy on that unit...

A hard tail eMTB was on my list of what might work,,, I'm glad I did f.s. even though a larger % of my rides are on standard terrain...

I definitely got my money's worth out of yesterday's ride,,, it f.s for summer time rides...

Too many curves,,, ledges and short drops once in awhile,,, having the rear suspension is a bonus in those situations...

I could chosen a hard tail but I'm sure i would of out grown it...

The f.s. design deffinatly adds too a plush ride,,, silky Smooooooth indeed...

No worries Tyler, mine is a not to fancy bike ( good American entry level lol ) I get about 40 k out of mine and the battery is still half and I recharge it. K, Again mines like a 1500 dollar bike. Paved trails with me peddling now and then.
